LabVIEW software

LABVIEW

  1. LABVIEW is a (short for Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Engineering Workbench) is a system design platform and development environment for a visual programming language from National Instrumentations.
  2. LABVIEW is commonly used for data acquisition, instrument control, and industrial automation on a variety of platforms including Microsoft Windows, various versions of UNIX, Linux, and Mac OS X.
  3. The programming language used in LABVIEW is a data flow programming language. Execution is determined by the structure of a graphical block diagram (the LV-source code) on which the programmer connects different function-nodes by drawing wires
Purpose

1.      The purpose of using this Labview is to control the water’s level in tank and when it come to the set point of desired level it will automatically stop or on the pump and also it will give a signal to user so that the user know either the pump is on or off and also to let user know the level of water.
2.      So, as the input to the Labview, we need a sensor to determine the level of the water in the empty tank, half empty or full as we already set. When it come to desired point, the pump wil automatically on or off. This process using the Labview to determine the level of the water using the ultrasonic sensor.
