DC voltage controller

The DC motor speed control in this project is to control the speed of dc motor that used to pump the water into the tank from the reservoir tank. As the motor can pump in 3785.41 liters per hour, we need to control the water pump as we want to do research about the accuracy of the ultrasonic sensor. The speed of the pump need to be control because we want the pump to be automatically pump the water in and to stop pump in at desired level of the tank.

To control the water pump, we use Darlington transistor, TIP 120. The TIP120 is an NPN Power Darlington Transistor. The TIP120 acts as a power broker or gatekeeper between the the high power realm composed of the water pump and its dc 12volts supply
